vintage Chalet glass figurine, large heavy Newfoundland dog smoke glass paperweight statue

Vintage art glass Newfoundland dog, smoke colored glass, crystal clear and very heavy. I did not see a signature on this piece, but I believe it's Chalet glass.

It's an amazing piece of modern art - a simple blob out of which becomes the perfect expression of a dog! It's a large piece, about 4 1/2" tall and 5 1/4" long.

There's a ding to the glass near the head (see photos). The bottom is smooth and clear without noticeable wear or scratching.
