primitive large old iron safety hook from farm estate

Large primitive old iron hook from an old farm estate. It measures about 7 3/4" long and 4 1/4" wide. It has riveted construction and a safety latch to keep the rope or chain from slipping out. The base of the hook is made to use with a wide belt or strap. This has a patina of rust.
