Beautiful wide cotton lace, late 1800s or very early 1900s. I believe this is probably 'chemical lace', machine made, heavy and very ornate. This is 3" wide across the picots, there's two 1 1/2 yard pieces in this lot.

It's nice and supple without brittleness, does have slight browning from age, and one of these pieces has a spot from tar or something like that. I haven't attempted to clean it at all.
