antique mother of pearl shell brooch or collar pin, ladies hand & cuff

Carved mother of pearl shell pin for jacket or ladies collar, a dainty white hand, 2 1/8" long finger tip to cuff edge. It doesn't appear to be marked or signed at all that we can see, we'd guess it's age to be 20s - 30s?

The pin backing is missing, with just a small broken metal stud or clasp, and a piece of fine wire later wrapped around the 'arm'. The carved shell is complete and unbroken, it's a lovely thing, and doesn't look too difficult to restore with new backing hardware.
