original label vintage Raymor Italian art pottery vase, MCM matte black & gold

Vintage Italy art pottery vase made for Raymor, still has the original paper label. I believe this is any Alvino Bagni piece.

I've never seen this design before, with incised sgraffito pattern on a matte black (lava type, with bubbles) glaze. The blocks of color are in subtle gold and earth tones. Very mid-century modern brutalist style!

Measures 6" tall, 7" across the base, 4" across top opening. This has a couple of little glaze chips, but is nice and clean overall, showing little if any use.
