40s - 50s vintage print silk or rayon fabric, floral on navy blue stripe

Beautiful silky fabric, 1940s or 50s vintage, rayon or silk (silk, we think?). This came out of the estate of a lady who made and restored fancy Victorian lampshades during the 1950s, she had many lovely old silks, and some period rayon dress material as well.

This piece measures 42" wide x 3 yards. It's a flower print on a fine striped navy blue background, very pretty.
