1940's vintage pieced patchwork print cotton comforter, hand-tied quilt

Old hand stitched and ttied patchwork quilt, 1940s vintage, lovely patchwork 'cheater' print fabric on the front, a floral print on the back. This measures 82" x 68".

This has no holes, no fraying to the edges, though the stitching is loose in a few small lengths. The batting is wool, now a bit shrunken, from a washing in hot water at some point!

This has some soil and discoloration from use, as well as some spots. We haven't had it cleaned.
