heavy cast metal pinecones, pine cone candle holders silver tone pewter look aluminum

Set of four heavy cast metal (aluminum?) pinecone candle holders, made to hold taper candles. These are roughly life-size, about 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" overall.

None of these have any marks or labels that I could find, though they're beautifully made. I believe they've been used, but the whole set is in nice shape.
