1890s antique silver plated cream pitcher & sugar bowl w/ ornate bright cut engraving

Victorian vintage silver plate cream &sugar set, made in Rochester New York, 1898 patent date.

This is very ornate with lovely cut floral design. Large and impressive, the sugar bowl is about 5 1/4" tall to the top of the finial on the lid, and 7 1/2" across the handles.

It's marked Quadruple Plate, but I think the plate is very worn, these pieces have very little tarnish and I believe that's because we're looking mostly at the base metal here! They're still very pretty decorative pieces with a lovely patina from over a hundred years of polishing and use.
