60s 70s vintage synthetic knit fabric, bold floral orange russet on scarlet red, wild girl mod

Bold, very retro flowered print fabric, a light sweater knit with Allied stamp on the end as shown. I think this is acrylic, but it might be polyester? It's 44" or 45" wide across the selvages, a 2 yard length in excellent condition.
