Large solid brass kerosene wall sconce with a huge, 17" across, brass reflector. We think this is probably an industrial or maritime lighting fixture.
This lamp has a number of small stress cracks to the brass lamp font so it won't hold oil and can't be used, for kerosene anyway, in this condition. This is as found and we've not done anything to attempt repair or patching the font.
The lamp burner is a dual wick and it's equipped with a smoke bell. It measures about 24" high overall and holds a narrow, Aladdin style, glass chimney. The wick adjustment knobs on the lamp burner are marked Sherwood Ltd - Bham (for Birmingham, England).
