Made in Italy Florentine gold tray, vintage cocktail tray, round serving plate

Vintage tray marked Made in Italy, with 'antique' rubbed gilt finish, very pretty. I think this is some sort of plastic wood composition? It's light in weight, lays nice and flat. Measures about 13 1/2" overall diameter. Condition is very good, very little wear or scratching.
