Victorian antique tazza very ornate cast metal bowl w/ stag deer, turn of the century vintage

Beautiful antique cast metal pedestal bowl with stag deer or elk, very ornate. This has no makers marks at all, at least none that I could find. It was made as a strictly decorative piece I guess, since the design would be so easily worn or dirty from use.

It's 5 1/2" tall overall, a nicely sized piece for a mantle or small end table, or as part of a grouping on a sideboard. The finish has a lovely dark patina, spotted with a bit of verdigris. Rustic luxe meets old world gothic style, like something from the Black Forest! A wonderful piece.
