antique Victorian vintage scale weight, ornate cast metal round marked 30 lbs, weighs almost 2 pounds

Beautifully ornate cast metal weight for an antique scale. It's about 2 3/4" in diameter, and weighs almost 2 lbs.. No makers marks here that I could see - I have no idea what scale or even brand of scale this is made to fit. It's a lovely piece for a paperweight, though!
