antique treen ware, early 1900s vintage mahogany wood turned bowl w/ french polish

Beautifully polished silky smooth heavy mahogany wood bowl, early 1900s vintage, showing a wonderful old patina.

This measures about 10" across the widest part of the bowl with a slightly flared turned shaping. It's sectioned into inner and outer rings, polished inside and out.

This has a worn old wool baize on the bottom and is labeled mahogany, though we're not sure of it's original purpose. It's really to pretty to fill!
