Two vintage hand mirrors for your vanity or dressing table, both from an estate here in Wisconsin
The ornate metal framed mirror is marked Denmark, and is cast pewter, we think? The glass measures 2 1/2" in diameter and has some scratching from being carried around in a purse, though the metalwork looks excellent. We aren't sure what the scene depicts, sorry. We'd guess this is 50s or 60s vintage.
The larger, ring handled mirror is designed to be hung on the wall with a ribbon when not in use, a style from the days when looking glasses were hard to come by. This one is probably 1920s, but it's a pretty, old-fashioned style. It's 'french ivory' celluloid, showing a little age discoloration. The mirror glass measures 4" in diameter, and looks very good.
