antique vintage ladies fan, carved bone / ivory silk folding fan

Lovely old folding fan, vintage or antique, made of carved bone, we think? The fabric is ivory silk or rayon showing some wear, and there's a slight, tight crack to one of the ribs as shown. So it's not perfect, but pretty. This measures about 17" wide opened out, 12 1/2" top to bottom when folded.
