Early Rogers silver plated serving tray for meat or poultry, a late 1800s antique. This is a lovely heavy piece, silver over copper. It's about 19 1/2" in diameter, with rounded shape.
This is marked with crown Trade Mark 1883, F B Rogers 7730. It's much used, a few little dings and dents, worn silver on the top surface showing the copper beneath. The copper would be of a food grade on a piece of this age, so we wouldn't hesitate to use this though the silver is less than perfect.
