Two beautifully engraved serving spoons from the mid 1800s, coin silver or german silver, not silver plate. One is about 8 3/4" long, the other about 9 3/4" long.
The spoon engraved H E Parker is marked Gerrish and Pearson, we'd guess that this one is coin silver from our research into that company.
The other spoon is not marked with any makers marks that we could see, though it's obviously quite old, and obviously not silver plate over a base metal. Might be coin silver, might be german silver. These are both lovely antique pieces, and we'd like to hope will be wanted by someone from more than just scrap!
