more photos of this product belowBeautiful set of heavy sterling silverware, 1940s vintage, judging from its chest.
This is the King Richard pattern, Towle silver - sterling - marked 1933. It's been in one family as a complete set, seldom used, all in very good condition, no monograms.
The box does show wear and scuffing. The silver has been polished in the last couple of years.
There's fifty-one forty-three pieces in all - eight butter knives, eight dinner knives, eight dinner forks (one just a little larger than the others!), eight salad forks, eight soup spoons, eight tea spoons.
Also a large serving spoon, a small ladle, a serving fork.
