antique farmhouse vintage ironstone porcelain double basin farm kitchen sink
more photos of this product belowOld white ironstone porcelain farm sink with steel cabriole legs. This old double basin sink is dated 6/12 (for June, 1912, we think) handwritten in crayon on the back of the sink.
It measures about 32 1/4" high at the front of the sink (40 1/2" high at the faucet), 40 1/2" wide (side to side) and 23" from the wall. The two sink basins are about 12 1/2" deep, 17 1/2" wide (side to side) and 16 3/8" front-to-back.
The holes for the faucet are 1 1/8" across and 4" center-to-center.
The cabriole legs are formed steel and are fastened to a steel frame with screws. The sink sits on top of the frame. Each leg has a threaded leveling foot. The leveling feet are newer and we think that the original feet rusted up and so were replaced.
This sink is in very nice vintage condition, but it does has a very small nick to the bottom of the right-hand basin.
This sink will have to ship via common carrier freight as it is too large and heavy for shipping via UPS. We estimate that the freight charge will be about $500.00. Please email us with your zip code for an exact shipping quote.
