Authentic early century doorknobs lot... twelve assorted round and oval door knobs, all nice architectural art elements in the Eastlake, William Morris, Art Nouveau, Aesthetic Movement traditions.
Five of these are all brass, two have embossed brass fronts with iron backs and five are all iron and embossed steel.
These all have a beautiful patina of age and tarnish, traces of old paint etc.. The round door knobs are about 2 1/8" to 2 1/4" across and the oval ones are about 2 3/4" x 1 1/2".
They are all made for about 1/4" square spindles.
One of the oval iron ones is quite heavily rusted and pitted (with a small hole right through the front) from long ago as shown.
