Pair of old round brass architectural ball finials. These old finials are from the estate of a man who worked demolition for many years and may have originally been salvaged from stairway newel posts or as knobs from a brass bed.
These finials are made of solid brass and are non-magnetic. Each finial is formed from spun sheet brass with a center rod to hold the two hemispheres together and a cast brass base. They measure about 3" across and 3 1/2" high and 7/8" across the base. These have a great patina of age and one finial is slightly bent at the base of the ball.
