Antique Victorian vintage architectural plumbing fixture... a faucet for an antique clawfoot bathtub or shower stall. This faucet is made for a rubber hose and has star taps handles with white porcelain medallions. The taps are labeled "Hot" and "Cold". It is marked "McCambridge Phila Pat Pend" near the hose fitting.
This faucet measures about 6" across the tap handles, 5 1/4" from the end of the hose fitting to the top of the handles and about 2 1/2" from the wall. The threaded nipples for connecting to the existing plumbing are 1" in diameter over the outside of the threads and about 1" long. The fitting for the rubber shower hose is 1" long and 1/2" in diameter. The faucet covers are about 2" across.
This is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the porcelain medallions, but with wear and tarnish to the nickel plating.
