vintage hand woven wicker basket, planter or desk caddy, kitchen / bath storage basket

Hand woven wicker basket with heavy plywood bottom, 1940s or 50s? I love the slightly irregular shape, it's like old fashioned camp craft, not like a factory made piece.

Measures 5 1/2" tall (5" deep), 8" x 6" across the rim. Would be great for flowers. Or a spoon holder. Or on your desk or work table to corral tools and supplies. Or in the bathroom for small towels. Endless possibilities here!
