Beautiful little ceramic bud vase with bird on a tree stump... this is Czech, 1920s or 30s. It's about 5 1/4" tall.

There's no chips or cracks, though this piece does have a little light soil from use. It would make a lovely vase for a few flowers or greenery, or a fine pencil holder for your desk.
