Primitive old time kitchen utensil, a long handled dipper or soup ladle - this is a great piece for wood stove or campfire cooking!

It's about 3 3/4" in diameter across the aluminum bowl of the ladle. Measures about 16" long end to end, and has a hook at the top of the steel handle. Spotted all over, this thing has seen a lot of use in the last 80+ years!
