vintage diamond thumbprint pattern amber glass round covered butter dish

1970s vintage diamond thumbprint pattern amber glass butter dome and dish, about 6 1/4" in diameter across the rim of the plate. The mark is SM (made for the Sandwich glass Museum by Viking glass).

It's a lovely rich amber color, very sparkly heavy pressed glass. Both the dish and the lid are in excellent condition.
