marked Baccarat ebony black crystal jam pot or covered jar, vintage Missouri pattern

Vintage ebony black glass covered jar, marked Baccarat on the bottom of the base. This looks the the Missouri pattern jam pot, but the lid is solid, no notch for a spoon. It would make a good candy dish or biscuit jar.

This is very heavy, beautifully made. It's in excellent condition without damage. I don't believe we've ever seen the black crystal in Baccarat dishware before!
