Victorian era chocolate pot with a beautiful gold outlined peony pattern in a chinoiserie style. This was made by Burroughs and Mountford (Trenton, New Jersey), 1880s.
This is used, not in the best of condition. The lid is missing (it's about 7 1/2" tall as it is). It's crazed and browned, and has a short hairline at the rim. No chips, and the gold looks lovely yet!
