Late 19th or 20th century porcelain charger plates, beautiful display pieces, with brightly hand-painted scenes of people and flowers. We've been told that the markings of these pieces are Chinese, though we know very little about Chinese import porcelains, older or newer.
The larger plate is 12 1/4" in diameter, marked with the square chop mark. The smaller plate (with the round maker's mark, also marked Hong Kong) is 10 1/4" in diameter. Both pieces are in excellent condition without damage.
