Bright hand painted cherry branch design on this vintage china plate made in Japan (not marked, this probably had a paper or foil label originally). This is cold paint made for decorative use, a display piece rather than dinnerware.

Measures about 8 1/4" in diameter, with holes at the back for a hanging cord or a wire. It's in very good condition - paint looks good, no chips or cracks to the porcelain.
