1940s or 50s vintage pottery dinnerware - unmarked. This pattern is Georgette by W S George, heavy, glossy glazed pieces in solid colors of burgundy wine or maroon, deep pine green, chartreuse and a silvery grey. These are fun to mix and match, so retro!
There's twelve plates ( 9 1/4" in diameter) and thirteen bowls (5 1/2" in diameter) in this lot. There's three each of the four different colors of plates, and in the bowls there's three each of the wine and the chartreuse, four of the grey, two of the pine green, and one a deep rose pink.
These are nice and clean without scratching or wear. There's a few glaze chips to the rims of a couple of these pieces, but overall it's a very good set of mid century vintage dishes.
