vintage apple shaped china teapot, majolica style ceramic made in Japan

Beautiful apple shaped china tea pot, warm golden yellow with an orange blush, perfect for fall. This is mid-century vintage, made in Japan.

It holds six cups, and measures about 9" long x 5 1/2" tall overall. It's clean and bright, no staining inside or out - but it does have an old repair at the stem handle on top of the lid.
