Large old, World War Two vintage United States Navy ship's pressure gauge with a black bakelite case. This gauge is marked US Gauge Co. and is stamped USN in red on the case. This old ships engine room gauge is from the estate of an engineer who served aboard a warship in the US Navy during WWII. We've been told that the case is bakelite because of the shortage of brass during the war.
This gauge measures 5 13/16" across the mounting flange, 5" across the bezel and about 4" across the gauge face. The gauge is calibrated from 0 to 30. The bezel unscrews from the case allowing access to the interior of the gauge.
