Antique early 1830s edition of The Works of William Paley - Archdeacon of Carlisle containing his life, moral and political philosophy, evidence of Christianity, natural theology, tracts, hoae paulinae, clergyman's companion and sermons - printed verbatim from the original editions - complete in one volume.
The original copyright is 1834 and this has about 712 pages. It still has the original paper book binder's label stamp from Galena, Ill on the inside of the front cover. There is also a 1865 inscription on the front end paper.
This is in nice condition for a piece of this age and type, but the pages are foxed from age and back cover is coming loose front the spine.
