Old Centennial edition of the Wisconsin State Book from 1948 (100th anniversary of statehood in 1848). It has 715 pages with illustrations and many tables and lists of information. Lots of great information for genealogists.
There are the biographies of members of the Wisconsin legislature, lists of all of the post offices in the state, all cities and villages, county officials and much, much, more! We saw an interesting list of publications (newspapers and magazines) in the state with the city or town, the publication name and the publisher. There are political party platforms (Democrat, Republican and Socialists) as well and the precinct by precinct outcome of voting.
