large antique Rand-McNally atlas w/color maps & photos 1906

Large antique Rand-McNally atlas... The World and Its People Photographed and Described. This old atlas is copyright 1906 and has about 500 pages. According to the title page this atlas has more the 1000 black and white photographs and 114 pages of color maps of the entire globe. There are maps showing the old pre-World War One German Empire and Prussia (officially dissolved as a state after the Second World War. There are maps of Africa and Asia showing the old political borders, European colonies etc.

This antique atlas measures about 11.25" x 14.375". This volume has wear, age and some discoloration and spotting to the cover. There is also some bleeding from the red dye of the cover to the edged of some of the pages. There is a tear to the fabric on the back cover.
