Antique cast metal stand for a desk or table, sea shells with water lilies. This I believe is spelter, with a bronze or iron colored finish. The center looks as though it was made to hold an inkwell (or possibly a lighter, though this seems stylistically wrong for a smoking stand).
It's not marked or signed that I could find, though it looks like a well made piece, elaborately detailed. My photos here don't do it justice! Measures about 9 1/2" long x 6 1/4" wide, 1 5/8" across the opening of the well.
