Antique lace collar, portrait style square at front and back. This originally had a high neck, but it's been cut down, and stitched by hand around the neckline. Collar measures about 17 1/2" x 18" overall. Neck opening is still tiny by today's sizing - this was made for an Edwardian era girl or young woman.
It's machine made cotton lace, in good condition overall, usable as a collar yet, or suitable for repurposing into heirloom sewing. Has some faint browning, slight wear at corners where it was originally attached to a dress.
