eyelet embroidered felt yardage, vintage felt fabric w/ multi-colored embroidery

Vintage felt fabric with all-over machine embroidery. We're not sure if this is wool, or a poly or acrylic blend? It's good quality fabric, and I don't believe it would full or felt down further because of the embroidery stitching.

It's a single length, just short of 2 yards. It's 29" wide overall, 26" wide over the area with the embroidery not including the wide selvage.
