June is Dairy Month 1980s vintage stoneware milk pitcher, red white blue quilt border

I milked a herd of Jersey cows twice a day in 1986 when this pitcher was made, celebrating the 50 year anniversary of June is Dairy Month. I really, really love this piece, though it's hard for me to call it 'vintage'!

It's about 7" tall, holds a quart of milk. It's nice heavy stoneware pottery, in excellent condition. The Americana style 'quilt' border pattern and the red, white and blue make it a piece perfect for your summertime patriotic decor or vignettes.
