antique vintage wooden hammer, large primitive wood mallet

Rustic farm or carpenter's tool, a large wood mallet, 7 3/4" down the head, 17" long from the top flat of the hammer down the handle. It's not heavy hardwood, but a soft wood ancestor of the rubber hammer, I think.
