Whittled hardwood bar hanger for butchering or smokehouse... we sometimes find these with the old iron hardware and hooks, and sometimes not.

This is one of the plain old-fashioned all wooden ones, 27" long end to end.

It's out of a farm estate here in Wisconsin, probably early 1900s vintage. It's nice and clean, rubbed smooth.
