small Swiss goat or cow milking pail, vintage stainless steel bucket

Vintage Swiss cross style milking pail, one gallon size (8" x 5") for a goat, or a brown swiss cow! (We love our Brown Swiss, but have to admit that a one gallon bucket isn't very far off the mark for most of them, most of the time!)

This is marked from the Stainless Ware Company of America, with a old ribbon mark. This style is still pretty popular, these hand milking pails haven't changed much over the years - it would be difficult to improve on this design. We have a very similar stainless pail we used for goat milking, we're still using it around the barn and garden today.

This pail has a few dents along the bottom, it's seen a fair bit of use over the years. It came out of a farm in the Monroe, Wisconsin area, where it's been dairy country for a long time - both cows, and dairy goats.
