old 1950s solid brass Jabsco farm pump for garden irrigation etc.

Old 1950's cast brass, pump from an old farm estate. This is marked "Jabsco Pump Co." and carries a US Patent number from 1958. It is also marked for right-hand or left-hand rotation. The is currently fitted with thread converters from standard pipe thread to regular garden hose threads (so you can connect directly to the pump with regular garden hoses. These can be removed if you'd rather hook up the pump with piping.

This pump has a V belt drive (there is no electric motor included, you will have to provide your own). It measures about 6" x 4" x 7". The drive pulley measures about 3 3/4" inches across.

This pump is free to turn, but we've haven't tested it with water. It has two grease cups for providing lubrication to the bearings on the drive shaft. The grease cups are marked "Kingfisher - Leeds, England". This pump has a patina of age.
