retro vintage hand-turned walnut wood pedestal bowl, Vermillion style

Vermillion style walnut wood bowl, 80s vintage, in excellent condition. (The center pic showing the bowl interior is much too light, first and last photos show the color correctly.) It measures about 8" x 4 3/4".

This was an award gift at a Holstein cattle exhibit gathering as the stickers on the bottom show.

We're imagining future collectors bragging about mod styled walnut ware they've managed to get their hands on, rather than the things we think of as collectible today (wooden yardsticks? pieces of 'carnival' glass? or old calendar plates? ink blotters with pictures of cows?!)
