Pair of small hand carved and painted, wooden folk art horses, inspired by the traditional Swedish Dala horses and Scandinavian art of rosemaling.

These horses stand about 2.75 inches high and 3 inches long. Each horse has a brass ring set in the back for hanging.

These horses are new and hand made by a local artisan here in the rolling hills of south-central Wisconsin, not far from Stoughton, WI, the home of the famous rosemal painter Per Lysne and a center of the Swedish or Norwegian-American community in Wisconsin.

Hang these dala horses from a ribbon to make lovely one-of-a-kind Christmas tree ornaments or just as a celebration of Scandinavian-American folk art and heritage year round!
