vintage french blue enamel cake carrier, large round tiffin or lunch pail w/ sturdy handle

Primitive old enamelware cake carrier, egg basket or lunch bucket, in a beautiful blue color! This measures about 11" in diameter overall, to hold a cake up to 10" x 5" (the bottom is 4 1/2" deep).

This has a few spots and a blemish to the enamel at the top, please see photos. It's fairly clean overall, and has a sturdy hasp and handle, a pleasure to carry. It might make a nice breadbox on your table or counter, too.
