Vintage enameled metal Berggren coffee percolator - this is a great Scandinavian folk art design coffee pot, singing the praises of coffee!
This seems to be popularly called the Swedish rosemaling pattern, though we're told all true rosemaling is from Norway, or done in the style of Norwegian pieces. The Swedes have their own style of folk painting (Dala horses, and other folk-painted animals and also painted trays, trunks and other things) which is not rosemaling. We collect both ourselves, and don't mind the mix, since we have both Swedish and Norwegian in the family... but a lot of older folks have emailed us about this, so we wanted to add the info they gave us. There should be no problem here, as all of Scandinavia loves their coffee.
This coffee measures about 8" tall, and has a little light general wear, there are a few mineral deposits to inside of pot. The graniteware and plastic interior fittings look good, gently used - all complete.
